The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Princess Rosalina, ruler of the Comet Observatory and adoptive mother of the Lumas, is kidnapped by Bowser Jr. who plots to drain her power to create life to fuel a universe-destroying cannon in honor of his father, Bowser, who was defeated by Mario and Luigi and shrunk by Princess Peach. Rosalina sends a Luma to the Mushroom Kingdom, who enlists Peach and Toad for help. Mario and Luigi are called to inspect a disturbance in the desert town of Tosterena, where they meet and befriend Yoshi. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi protect the Mushroom Kingdom in Peach's absence, and attempt to rehabilitate Bowser.

Bowser Jr. lifts Peach's castle into space in an attempt to free his father, but accidentally drops the castle into the Honeyhive Galaxy. Bowser is unshrunk when he offers to help the brothers and Yoshi, before being abducted by his son, whom he had not seen in years. In the Gateway Galaxy, Peach and Toad confirm Rosalina's location to be the Space Junk Galaxy after defeating Wart, one of Bowser Jr.'s henchmen.

Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi reunite with Peach and Toad, who have hired pilot Fox McCloud to transport the group. Fox's spaceship crash lands into Fossil Falls after an attack from Bowser Jr., who turns Mario and Luigi into babies with a Super Scope. Bowser feels guilty, having bonded with the brothers, but Bowser Jr. convinces him to return to his role as king of the Koopas. Yoshi finds the Super Scope and restores the brothers. Luigi alerts the Lumas to pick them up in the Comet Observatory, where Peach discovers that she has the same powers as Rosalina, her long-lost older sister who sent an infant Peach to the Mushroom Kingdom to protect her from an unidentified attacker.

Fox, Toad, and the Lumas pilot the Comet Observatory to send the other four to the Space Junk Galaxy. Mario and Peach confront Bowser, whom Mario drops into the lava moat below; Bowser survives as a skeleton. Luigi and Yoshi assist Mario in defeating the Bowsers with power-ups. Using their power, Peach rescues and reunites with Rosalina. Peach's castle is rebuilt and Fox sends the Bowsers to prison before heading home. Meanwhile, Meanwhile, Princess Daisy prevents a robbery in the Gateway Galaxy.
